Climate change MUST become a number one priority! This is the real "America first issue. Stop putting a greedy industry above our lives and future. Stop pretending they provide such great jobs! Sustainable energy provides more and more stable work! There is no rational or factual argument that places the fossil fuel industry over America's health and wellbeing.

All depends on your perspective. Do you believe Trump,Pence, Pruitt, about 50 Senators, and 200 or so Congress men/women? 💥Or Stephen Hawking? ⚡️I will choose Hawking every time. The man is a genius who has dedicated his life to promoting sound scientific theories. ❓so the question becomes, how do we get rid of all the other idiots before it is too late?

We can feel and see the effects of climate change now. Where I live, summers are hotter, winters are milder, storms are more intense and there is less overall rainfall. Cities like Miami are experiencing seawater rising through their storm sewers at high tide. We can still do something about this -- we should rejoin the Paris Climate Accord and show some global leadership. Old fossil fuel technologies are on their way out, regardless, and jobs related to those industries will not return.

Only a complete moron would deny the reality of climate change. Regardless of cause, it poses incredible challenges to domestic and international security. We must be prepared both with domestic infrastructure, military, and international diplomacy. If you think the Syrian refugee crisis is a big deal, wait until tens of millions of people are displaced by rising sea levels. And that is only the beginning.

Congress not aiding, some not even believing in climate change is going to be detrimental to my future. Letting the issue progress is making it so my generation will have the nearly impossible task of cleaning it up as we grow older and get involved in politics as our careers.

Climate change is real and is a very serious WORLD PROBLEM!!!! We as a country have a lot that we need to change, but this is a world issue. We need to work with other countries to invest in our future on this planet. Cut the America first crap! It will do us no good when we are under water. And as the worlds largest polluter and country most responsible for contributing to climate change WE NEED TO DO THE MOST TO MAKE UP FOR IT!!!

If you compare pictures from the 1970s and from the Obama administration, you can see the progress we've made with correcting climate change. AND NOW TRYMP & HIS STOOGES FOR CORPORATIONS ARE GOING TI REVERSE ALL THE PROGRESS WE'VE MADE.

We must take bold action now to save our planet for future generations. We knew about this issue in the 1970s but so far no real reduction has been made in our country's emissions and new strand adds for businesses are not strict enough to make a difference. The USA should stop subsidizing big oil and start subsidizing clean energy.

This is such an important issue. Especially for the people of Kentucky, as agricultural workers will be those hit first by these changes in climate. You must start to curb the destruction of our environment. If not, our children and grandchildren will have to combat mass famine and increased military conflicts over basic food and water resources.

Addressing human caused global warming is the most important thing governments of the world can do. Global warming will negatively impact agriculture, life in the oceans and the habitability of many areas on the planet. It will cause mass migration as well as the spread of diseases now considered tropical. The evidence for human caused global warming is solid in many branches of science. Glaciers are melting, seas are rising, Atmospheric CO2 is increasing, land and sea temperatures are rising and ocean pH is dropping. These things have all been measured and the CO2 emitted by human activities has been measured and shown to be the cause. An overwhelming majority of scientists involved in climate study as well as many other related fields agree that global warming is real, is human caused and is critical for human society. Those who deny the reality of global warming induced climate change or think it is not important are wrong. All major scientific bodies around the world, the governments and militaries of every major country and the insurance industry agree that this problem must be addressed. It is foolish to think otherwise.

It's a scam designed to fill the pockets of the elite with our hard earned money! Nothing comes close to the benefits cheap oil and gas has brought to modern life! Freedom of movement and transportation are a huge part of what has made the United States the greatest country on earth!

Adapt. Climate has always changed and will always change. Stop forcing people to hold your views though legislation and regulation.

Climate change impacts weather, water, food, land. How can anything be more profoundly significant? Action is long overdue. This must go to the top of the priorities list before it is too late? Before people are at war over resources depleted by climate change.

From what I have learned, the past 40 years has been hell on our planet. Pollution pumped into the skies didn't seem like it would, someday, be hazardous to our survival? 🤷🏽‍♂️
