1. "Sessions asks 46 Obama-era U.S. attorneys to resign"
U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions has asked the remaining 46 chief federal prosecutors left over from the Obama administration to resign, including Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara who had been asked to stay on in November by then President-elect Donald Trump.
A Justice Department spokeswoman confirmed the resignation requests applied to Bharara. However, it was not immediately clear if all resignations would ultimately be accepted.

2. "Trump works as Dealer-In-Chief to rally for GOP health care plan"
President Donald Trump is working to get all Republicans behind a GOP plan to repeal and replace Obamacare – stepping in as dealmaker-in-chief.
President Trump sat down with House Republicans who are working to push new health care legislation through Congress.
"We’re working together.We have some great results. We have tremendous spirit and I think it’s something that’s just going to happen very shortly," said President Trump.

3. "Rand Paul: Trump ‘very open to negotiation’ to ObamaCare bill"
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Friday said President Trump is open to changing parts of the House GOP's ObamaCare repeal bill.
"Actually, I think the president is very open to negotiation," Paul told Breitbart News Daily. “I talked to him again last night by phone. I’ve talked to him twice a week."
Paul added that during their talk on Thursday night, Trump "said he's open to negotiation."

4. "U.S. adds 235,000 jobs in first full month of Trump White House"
The U.S. economy churned out 235,000 new jobs in February in the first full month of the Trump White House, signaling steady growth ahead and all but assuring the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates soon.
The economy has added almost half a million jobs in the first two months of 2017, the best back-to-back performance since last summer. Employment in weather-sensitive industries got a big boost from the second warmest February on record, including the biggest gain in construction jobs in 10 years.

5. "Mattis’ Pentagon pick seen as supporter of Muslim Brotherhood, group Trump may outlaw"
President Trump’s defense secretary wants the Pentagon’s top civilian job to go to a onetime prominent supporter of ousted Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood, a group Trump may designate as a terrorist organization.
Not surprisingly, the White House is resisting the choice by Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, a retired Marine Corps general, of Anne Patterson to be undersecretary of defense for policy -- the Pentagon’s fourth most powerful position.
