White House Will Destroy Voter Data Submitted to Election Fraud Commission

What’s the story?
Look like if the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) wants to look into accusations of voter fraud, they’re going to have to do it without state voter data that was submitted to the president’s now-defunct Election Fraud Commission, reports Politico.
When President Trump disbanded his Election Fraud Commission recently, Commission Co-Chair Kris Kobach told the press that he expected the probe over voter fraud to be taken over by ICE. Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders made similar statements, that "preliminary findings" would be forwarded to DHS.
Now, via a declaration submitted in federal court, the administration has confirmed that they will not be submitting the data to any other federal agency, including both DHS and the National Archives and Records Administration. Instead, officials plan to destroy the information:
"The state voter data will not be transferred to, or accessed by, DHS or any other agency, except to the National Archives and Records Administration ('NARA'), pursuant to federal law, if the records are not otherwise destroyed. Pending resolution of outstanding litigation involving the Commission, and pending consultation with NARA, the White House intends to destroy all state voter data."
It is unlikely the White House will actually burn the data in a bonfire on the lawn when a keystroke will likely do the job, but it’s entertaining to contemplate.
What do you think?
Were you in support of the work of the Election Fraud Commission, or not? Do you think it’s a good thing that the administration is destroying all the data that was submitted to the Commission, or do you think it should have been transferred to DHS or ICE? Are you concerned about massive voter fraud or do you think it’s a conspiracy theory?
