BREAKING: FBI Now Agrees That Russia Hacked to Help Trump

Following a disagreement between the CIA and FBI over evidence of Russia's election-related hacking and how closely the Kremlin was linked to it, the two agencies now agree that Russia intended to help President-elect Donald Trump defeat Hillary Clinton.
The leader of the U.S. intelligence community and FBI Director James Comey have announced that they support the CIA's findings. The FBI had been reluctant to concur with the report, citing a lack of hard evidence showing that Russian officials were "directing" the hackers -- who aren't government employees.
The CIA and FBI also agree that Russia's intervention didn't have a "single purpose," and that aside from boosting Trump the Kremlin hoped to undermine confidence in the U.S. election system.
