President-elect Donald Trump has been busy making appointments to his Cabinet and filling other high-level posts in his incoming administration since his victory over Hillary Clinton. Cabinet appointees are important because not only because they’re in charge of major federal agencies, but they also are part of the line of succession to the presidency if the President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, and President pro tempore of the Senate (respectively).
With so many agencies and positions out there, keeping track of who has been picked for what job and whether they’ll face confirmation hearings can be a pain. So we’ve created this page where you see which posts have nominees and which don't. We'll keep this updated as additional selections are made.
You can also let your Senators know how you feel about appointees that will face confirmation by the Senate by using the "Take Action" button.
* denotes that the appointee won’t have to be confirmed by the Senate.
