Please, please read the extended descriptions on this issue and all others. Along with everyone else, I am absolutely all for renewable energy, but this is about subsidizing training in ALL careers related to STEM, which is vital for any first world nation to continue thriving. You can't simply throw the entire pool of people at renewable energy (solar cell, wind turbine, etc.) production and efficiency research. It's frankly a surplus of heads, and we also need minds devoted to REDUCING how much energy we use, through making existing manufacturing processes more efficient, and developing new transportation technologies like SpaceX's Hyperloop (extremely fast and energy efficient future public transport). This bill will support and cultivate a following for all of the above and more!
