ISPs have provided campaign funds to some congressmen including Ted Cruz who is in favor of this bill. Privacy isn't the issue here, it's keeping those campaign dollars rolling. There is a report out that shows which congressmen have received how much money from each ISP. This bill also allows ISPs to reduce the measures they use to prevent hacking of our own systems. Sell our data and make it easier for hacking. What do we get? I thought we were supposed to be represented by Congress, not sold to the highest bidder. You want my data, pay ME for it.
