When women make up a strong percentage of the workforce, there is zero reason we should be paid less for doing the same work (unless you are sexist, uninformed, or both). Furthermore, a lot of women are the primary breadwinners of their households, so really it's a step towards true gender equality and a better economy. It also needs to happen across the board racially/ethnically speaking. It's not just an issue of women earning about 3/4 of what men earn, but Latinas, for instance, make about half of what men earn. Let's start making moves that should've been made a while ago.
