The program is rendered invalid by its own premises. It does not introduce any capabilities that are not currently present in land management, in neither the representation of the interests of the people nor in the ability of the government to service public lands. Cross-jurisdictional cooperation is not prohibited within a state/local framework, nor is the ability to assign large scale services such as firefighting to federal administration. Further, it is not necessary to grant complete authority to federal government to achieve those ends and is a detriment to true representation to do so. As such, I support this measure.
