I have spent a good deal of time volunteering and working in the schools in your district and I assure you school resources officers are the last thing on most parents mind. Heck, most of the high school students can shoot better than the average resource officer and are fairly knowledgeable about gun safety -classes in that particular area are offered at the local diner. The students need textbooks, technology, and stability in the teaching staff. The students desperately need after school tutoring options, authentic STEM programs, after school enrichment, mental health services, and community services. They need coats and shoes. And a decent school meal program wouldn't hurt.
