Failing to act to address climate change is akin to never putting a dime aside for retirement because you might die before you turn 65. Climate change is the biggest crises facing our planet. Worldwide, scientists agree that human activity impacts global warming. Countless thousands have already lost their lives in natural disasters caused by global warming, yet that is only the tip of the melting iceberg. If we continue on our reckless and ruthless path of destruction, millions more could die, and billions, if not trillions, will need to be spent to aid those left behind. The time to act is now. We can not afford to wait.
