Congres has had a lot of time to work this out and two more months are not going to make a difference over the past 8. If they wouldn't prioritize getting this taken care of over trying to repeal the ACA and undercutting diplomatic efforts with the international community in the time they already could have, they won't do so with another 2 months. As their employers, we should not allow them to extend the deadline they have to accomplish the tasks and responsibilities with which they are charged. Get it done, get it done now. If you didn't manage your time effectively up to now while on my dime and my timeclock, you will have to work on your time but get it taken care of. You make salary, so you don't have "hours". Pull up those bootstraps you're all so proud of, work around the clock if you have to, and make things happen. I am tired of this congress doing nothing while getting payed a wage far over the national median.
