Obtaining a marriage license is a civil process, very similar to Obtaining a business license. Anyone denied access to this civil process is denied a civil right. Religions still have the right to be as discriminatory as they want and no faith is required to perform a wedding ceremony. Christians, Muslims, atheists, Hindu, all are free to apply for a marriage license now regardless of how their belief regards marriage. It should be the same open licensing process for everyone, including the LGBT community.
