What you are basically doing is providing sport for hunters. You have not taken into consideration the impact on wildlife. My tax dollars should NOT be spent on open land "SPORTS VENUES" for the benefit of those who hunt. People should not be ignorant of the fact that corporations will target those areas with stores, accommodation, restaurants, bars - that always follow when enough hunting sports folks choose to hunt on pristine land that belongs to the people. Human activity in the form of stores, bars, accommodations and houses built for those who will require homes in order to work for said corporations will have a huge negative impact on pristine land. Why do hunters need additional pristine land to hunt? Surely the vast lands they currently hunt on is enough? One of humanity's innate flaws is that we have short term memory when it comes to how human's have impacted and endangered this nation's wildlife in the past, remember when Buffaloes freely roamed in the millions? The land is for future generations - not for the usual "IT'S ALL ABOUT ME" mentality.
