Absolutely not. The last thing we need is to put our young men and women of the Armed Forces in a ground war in the Middle East again. We have already lost so many lives in the Iraq War that didn't need to happen. The Iraq War also was a demonstration of how you can't fight ideology with fire power. The most bombs we use, and the more hostile the situation becomes. While we should play a key role in the fight against ISIS, it should be mainly as support for our Muslim allies in the region. This a a war that they need to take ownership of. We also need to continue to support Muslim advocates and clerics that are leading the fight here at home against radicalization by means of propaganda and the Internet. The more we attempt to police the world, and remove regimes, and hunt terror groups, more of them come into fruition and usually stronger and more hostile than before. It's time for the Muslim leaders in the region to be accountable and take back control of their land and people, and show the world that moderate Muslims will not tolerate extremism.
