Absolutely not. For the simple fact that it will cover 24 million fewer people over the next 10 years. And that older Americans and low income Americans will suffer the most from the subsidies included in this new bill. It will not be what republicans are trying to make it out to be and people will die if this bill passes through Congress. The White House and The Hill have a responsibility to present a bill to the American people that doesn't force them to choose between paying rent and paying for health care. Health care is a human right, and a modern world calls for a modern approach to covering a growing nation that is riddled with chronic illness and rising health care costs. Killing the Medicaid expansion alone will be responsible for the ill health of millions of children, whose low-income parents can't otherwise afford healthcare for their children outside of CHIP. Don't kill the American people, KILL THIS BILL.
