I have always supported the idea of a national healthcare system established in the United States like it is in Countries like the United Kingdom but it seems that the affordable care act did not improve the standards of healthcare in the United States at all in fact it did nothing to get anyone affordable healthcare. When we tried to sign up for a fordable healthcare us being a family of six we were still rejected for affordable healthcare. So we had to get healthcare from our insurance broker so we wouldn't get the tax penalty. This insurance we got was meaningless and is still meaningless because of its 6000 deductible. The affordable care act needs to be replaced with one that will work. My only concern is because of the Republican majority a healthcare act would be very hard to pass through both houses of Congress and it will probably not happen.
