what about jobs for high schoolers or retired people who need something to kill time with? when I hear that minimum wage workers work so much harder than their richer peers, I wonder what the heck he's trying to do? the rich people know the poor need to thrive, too, else the whole country's economy breaks, so they try to pass laws to help them, but, like clockwork, the poor find a way to use it against themselves. example: savings account interest earned is taxable income, and mortgage interest payments are tax deductions. Poor person thinks: i try to save my money and get ahead and they punish me while they incentivize me to go into more debt! This system is rigged! The rich have loopholes!" The rich think: If I'm lazy and just letting my money accumulate in an account, they punish me, but if i buy an asset that produces regular income for me, they reward me. Thanks for watching out for me, Uncle Sam!" the rich don't have loopholes. they're the same laws that apply to everyone. but try to go tell any poor person to think a different way, and you're guaranteed that they will tell you why you can't do that and how risky it is and isn't gonna work, and that's before they return and slave away for pennies at their jobs. it's because of a total lack of willingness to become educated about money. "A penny saved is a penny earned" comes from POOR Richard's Almanack. Why would anybody in their right mind save their hard earned dollars?! Currency is the ONLY type of asset that is GUARANTEED to ALWAYS go down in value. Get rid of it fast and trade it for something that provides income or at minimum keeps its value! this Robin Hood idea is called theft. Watch minimum be raised that high and see how fast computers replace all of these workers. I dare you. rich people arent bad and neither should they be legally robbed because dodo over here refuses to learn how to handle his money like an adult.
