Voters who are upset about what they keep calling "big government spending" need to reexamine how spending has been allocated in the last few decades. When you say you want funds put toward infrastructure, education and healthcare, you're talking about the very idea of a large government presence in terms of funding. The issue of our money going toward military overspending to the point where we're using taxpayer dollars for VIAGRA for military personnel is not "big government spending". Anyone crying about the dirty "socialist" word seems to fail to comprehend that the whole concept of putting money into our country's infrastructure and education and healthcare has roots in socialism. It's not a radical leftist fairy tale, it's a concept in practice in multiple democratic governments in the first world - all of whom have cared for their citizens in a manner far better than we ever have. Government involvement is what caring for your country's entire population takes. Nothing about this bill will allot money to the areas that need it. Nothing about it will help those voters who are struggling to stay afloat financially.
