If a religion's practice oppresses or takes away the rights of a group, and those practices are being protected by law, it throws away the values that we were founded on, all men are created equal. What's the difference from religious oppression in this regard and suicide bombing for a religion. Nothing. You are free to practice your religion, but nobody should be forced to rule under yours if they don't want to. That's in the constitution, freedom of religion. If a religion calls for the banning of homosexuals to services, one is practicing their religion but infringing on the other's rights. This country is NOT ruled by God or any other God. The land is ruled by the constitution. No exceptions. Any exceptions are infringing on the constitution.
