I am very conflicted about this issue. At first, term limits sound like a very good idea - a constant rotation of fresh voices and new ideas into the mix. I am, however, concerned that this may lead to a lack of knowledge within Congress regarding long-term projects. Also, if the voters want to keep sending the same person to Congress to represent them, should we deny them that? I think one of the major reasons people support this idea is actually due to the practice of gerrymandering, which is a separate issue and should be dealt with on its own (it should ended and any attempts to practice it should be harshly punished as it IS completely undemocratic). So, the reasons I would support this actually have to do with another problem altogether. Consequently, I am voting nay.
