I agree with this bill in theory, but it doesn't go far enough as worded. Open discussion about compensation will have a modest impact on individual circumstances but greater on a company wide basis. It potentially could alter corporate guidelines in many ways, although I'm uncertain if the wording of this would accomplish this. More information transparency is always about implementation and who is most likely to use the information. If this removes some of the stigma about open conversation about compensation, I would consider this bill a success.
