The USA has changed a lot since the 1950s in good ways, such as socially, but also in bad ways, like CEO versus employee pay, or affordability of homes and education. This bill spells out in modern wording something that is actually part of what our founders intended within "life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness... which governments are created to protect." I find it simply fascinating that right-wing, "pro-life" individuals are against this notion. What is the purpose of forcing a woman to give birth if that child who is born will not live in a comfortable home? If that child cannot go to the doctor? If that child doesn't have access to quality, affordable education? You see, many of the people who interject themselves into a woman's uterus (metaphorically speaking...) are utter hypocrites if they don't support the parameters that would enable that child, who will one day become an adult, to thrive. Vote yes.
