That makes sense only in a world where there isn't really a need for so many regulations because there aren't evil greedy people trying to make money at all costs. Most rules are put in place after the need has arisen. Look at what greed there is in politics and you'll see why regulations are put in place, for our protection. To randomly say we need to erase a few now, just because a new need has arisen, sounds like the greedy trying to pull one over on the rest of us, to me. Greed will always find an in and there will always be a need to put new rules to resist it, but if we need to erase old rules for some random reason then we let the greed back in again. Though the rules get heavy and cumbersome they are there for the protection of all, over the greed of just a few. Those who want to remove rules, should be suspect of being those greedy few.
