Serious questions about this proposal: 1. What of a citizen's constitutional right to due process? 2. Where does this leave a citizen when they find that their passport is suspended? Potentially violating the visa requirements of a neighboring country? 3. What constitutes a foreign terrorist organization? Who decides, and by what criteria? 4. Citizens who feel they are wrongly accused must have a clear remedy. We already have people on the no-fly list who have been demonstrated to be distinct from aliases of deceased suspected terrorists, and they cannot clear their names. 5. This does not address the very real threat of domestic terrorism, which has been growing (double in 2018 from 2016) and was responsible for all terrorist attacks within US borders this year.
