I can see the argument of not repeating WWII, however, Jewish people are not just a religious people, they are actually of Jewish racial decent. Christians are not. Anyone can choose to be a Christian or not. You cannot choose to be born Jewish. Though it really tears at my heart to vote against this; I cannot bring myself to fully vote for it. Christians have been persecuted in the Middle East for centuries. Not saying that makes anything ok, but merely pointing out this is unfortunately a risk you take declaring your religion and practicing it outside of a religiously free country. How would America confirm someone is Christian other than asking questions and trusting the refugee has answered honestly? It is not the same as being of a particular race. I feel like this has is a no win situation, but as others have stated: voting this in creates a slippery slope.
