Yes, airline seats are too small. No, government should not interfere with this. Let consumers decide if airline seats are intolerably small. When we have determined that is so, airlines will lose customers and make changes. Slow news day for somebody in Congress? On to another problem: since when do furry animals (who do NOT pay for airline seats) that travel on commercial flights have more rights than do people (who DO pay for airline seats) who have allergic responses to such animals? How are airlines NOT committing discrimination against people with a "disability" when such people, instead of the animals, are expected to leave the plane?
