I have worked my butt off for my education. My parents decided to not pay for any of my tuition or my siblings. Although, my mother has helped me out with books a few times and one online classes, I paid for the rest on my own. My parents can afford to pay for our college if they wanted too. I did not have to take out one loan for my undergrad, but that's whole other story in itself. The point in getting at is I wouldn't not be as hard of a worker as I am today if it wasn't for my parents not supporting me in with tuition and forcing me to work for it. I highly appreciate my degree far beyond other who received it for free de to the fact that I, not anyone else, worked hard for it. If tuition was free it would majorly hurt the career opportunities for college graduates. Free tuition could lead to making the "college degree," worthless to an extent. The "college degree" I'm America would not be as near as valuable as it is today.
