It makes absolutely no sense to take the creator of federal currency and the national bank off the currency. Without him, the US would be a completely different society in terms of currency. Everyone on the currently circulated bills is on their respective bills for good reasons: Washington as the first president, Lincoln as the preserver of the Union, Hamilton as the founder of the national bank, Jackson as the General who helped expand the US, Grant as the General who preserved the Union, and Benjamin Franklin as the presiding president of the Constitutional Convention. Even Jefferson on the $2 bill as the author of the Declaration of Independence is justified. If there is to be a change, the change must come from the coins. Many presidents are repeated on the coins. Replace one of them, not the bills. Rosa Parks is a good person to put on a coin.
