Most regulations are there to protect citizens' health, safety, or civil rights in the face of huge financial onslaught from corporations whose only concern is maintaining their profitability. Unfortunately, little detailed information about this bill is easily available (hmmmm), but I remember reading about it back in February and March. Any regulatory action will incur both costs and benefits, and wisdom lies in finding the beneficial balance between the two; however, as written, this bill only looks at costs to corporations of the examined regulations with no weight allowed to be given to the benefits it will produce. This obviously seriously skews the argument and screws the citizens, workers, and communities designed to be protected. The only reasonable response is a"no" vote.
