Difficult. As every week passes, I am growing more and more in favor of tighter gun control. 99.999% of gun owners are responsible, but mental illness among gun owners is proving to be a problem. However, diagnosis and accuracy of the diagnosis plus failures to be able to predict future actions makes this regulation worthless. Even if it was put in place, it won't stop bad person from doing bad things. The reality is there is a much higher % of dangerous drivers, but we aren't passing laws to prevent short-tempered people from driving. Why are we being so tight with a gun owning group that has proven to be more responsible at a much higher rate?
