Given the number of employees involved, I think you should be careful what you wish for. You’d be flooded with information about people and positions that you know nothing about -this is tightly handled by supervisors and HR. On the other hand, what we SHOULD know is how much of our tax money is channeled into the Congressional retirement fund which pays out six-figure retirements for life for people serving little time. This fund receives no contributions from and congressional member, is completely secret and completely protected. Think about how many former congressional reps are living and receiving that dole and we are paying for it and have no idea who is getting it, how much they are getting and how much of the annual revenue goes to that fund. But we know they don’t hesitate to threaten social security that we pay into all our working lives because they can’t afford to give it to us. What’s wrong with this picture??? And exactly the same situation exists for their health care versus our health care, Medicare and Medicaid. Forget bonuses. We need to light up their retirement and health funds.
