Ok let's make something clear, eliminating the EPA, the agency that comprises half of the suits in the D.C. Circuit and continually expands its power to steal people's property, make polluting entities immune from prosecution, and dumps heavy metals into rivers DOES NOT mean "eliminating environmental protection." We still have the clean air act and the clean water act. All the EPA does is implement rules to carry out those laws... rules that should be made by our elected representatives who are (sort of) accountable to us. The EPA did a good job with the low hanging fruit (fuel emission standards in the 70's) so they seem to get a free pass on all the other terrible stuff they do in the name of helping the environment. Look at what they ACTUALLY do, not just what they claim to do.
