Growing up in Cancer Alley (southern Louisiana), I've seen how looser to no environmental regulations can affect *generations*. I've also studied mining affects on water quality due to sediment contamination. Preventing pollution is exponentially less expensive to tax payers and communities (especially any downstream towns dependent on tourism) than emergency response and long term restoration. Current tax payers and future generations need this kind of protection of their resources. Do not repeal EPA's stream protection. Vote against this bill.
