There is a difference between exercising free speech and letting discriminatory, outdated ideals strip us, as an entire culture, from the equality we preach. You can not deny someone service or access to facilities because they're black, no matter how much you disagree with that, so why can we deny service to people based on their sexuality? It's a double standard, and we're better than this. This isn't free speech, and this isn't a theocracy. Your religion and your beliefs are not law and they do not apply to those around you.
