States' Rights are an important hallmark of our Constitution. It allows for individual states to interpret and execute federal laws as best fits the unique states. This shouldn't be hailed as good when a black man is in office, then forgotten when the executive orders are bing signed by someone who looks like you. Marijuana is legal in many states contrary to the federal law, but the state government does not cut funding to "problem cities" with high recreational use. Look at the benefits of the decriminalizing marijuana! Similar benefits can be seen in non-compliant immigration. Undocumented immigrants will be less likely to report serious crimes like murder if they know law enforcement will report them to the federal immigration enforcement. Let the Feds enforce their laws, and states enforce theirs.
