I wanted to read through some of the opinions on both sides of this issue before I voted, but after reading a handful of the "no" votes, I was convinced that I had to support NASA on this. Those who blame NASA for the Shuttle and for having to rely on Russia to get us to the ISS have themselves to blame for those things (it was the same kinds of opinions these people hold now that others in Congress also held when they were going over the budgets, that eventually doomed NASA)! Try running the Agency on the shoe-string budget like they have and I doubt anyone could have done better! Even still, NASA has provided many new innovations and jobs over the years. When I read comments about using the money for education instead of NASA, or that there are more pressing issues in our country we should be dealing with first, instead of investing in NASA, etc., etc., I just have to laugh, and think - what good has THAT money done so far?
