Poor products will result in a company losing its share of the market. Please trust that some Americans have enough sense to know what good quality is and what good quality isn't. In a sense this sounds like the federal government has a greater sense of what is good quality than the states do. This is a state issue. Maybe we should stop saying made in the USA and begin naming the product after its own state. Such as made in Alaska, or made in Maine, or made in Alabama, then we can take pride in our state's product. Or perhaps made in the USA – Alabama etc. That gives each state a chance to excel.
