Our National Parks must have a recycling system. The invention of plastics has been a curse to the world. All plastic has carcinogens in it that are harmful to all life. It must be contained and disposed of properly. Plastic was invented and created prior to WWII, and people were told plastic was just fine to use, so plastic containers, bottles, and drinking glasses were made, and people began to use them. Even rope was now made of a form of plastic, replacing rope made of hemp, which lasted longer and was stronger. To ban plastics greatest competitor, movies like "Reefer Madness" were made, and the plastic industry lobbied Congress to make the growing and selling of hemp products illegal. Now, thanks to the billionaire families involved in the creation of plastic, we use it for everything. Everytime we take a drink from a plastic bottle we are ingesting tiny particles of plastic, and other carcinogens. Yes, our National Parks must have recycling programs, and those who choose to just throw out the plastic and not recycle be fined. This will help reduce the cost of recycling.
