Relax, naysayers. There is a process to prove a case of discrimination. Sure, it would have had greater impact 30 years ago when women couldn't make partne based on their gender. Look at all the data you want. There is nothing wrong with a law to protect workers. The reality is that women with children are many times viewed as an employment liability while a man who tailors his job around his family is viewed as an asset and a good father. There is nothing wrong with targeting inequitable employers to make them stop and evaluate their practices.
