There is no reason that the Affordable Care Act can't simply be altered or edited to make it more effective. Health Care is a complicated issue, and any policy made will inevitably have problems on some level to work through. Knowing this, why would it not be simpler to fix a policy that already exists than to institute an entirely new one that will inevitably have its own pitfalls? The citizens lacking insurance that will suffer destructive health concerns while they wait under the American Health Care Act for their coverage to be improved don't have time for the government to work through entirely new healthcare protocol. Fix the current problem, but don't do so by introducing an entirely new one.
