A pink item should not be priced higher than another item that is in every other physical manner exactly the same in blue, or vice versa. It should not matter if the product is otherwise exactly the same. That is by my understanding blatant gender discrimination and exploitation. If you don't want more women or more men buying one color over the other either choose different colors for the product, market the product in a more gender neutral way, or start making a real effort nationally to end the stupid color based gender bias (or perhaps all of the above). Pink is not a girl color and blue is not a boy color. They are just colors. Based on that stupid logic men should be wearing blue lipstick because pink is too feminine.
