A fetus is a "bunch of cells" that does grow into a human being. I understand that some might say that abortion is the ultimate form of voter suppression. One thing that is bothersome: is it an all-male committee making this decision? There should be women in on this as well. Also, when a baby is born, I am concerned that new parents won't have the resources that they need to be good parents such as paid parental leave. If one refuses to invest in children once actually born, it appears as though it's pro-birth, not pro-life. This paves the way for child abuse. Not to mention, what is a woman gets pregnant through rape? It's a traumatizing experience. She shouldn't have to keep the baby. Sex education is important as children grow so that they can understand what happens.
