What started out at the League of Nations in response to the devastation brought about by World War, the United Nations is a governing body that can be well equipped to meet the demands of our rapidly evolving global society. The Neo-National movement which is spurred on by those who support the idea that America needs to be what it once was. The reality of the world we live is this—it’s not going back. The United States is not the only global superpower. There are other major players on the field. And how are suppose to keep a balance between those other players if there isn’t some semblance of governance. To call for the removal of the United States from an organization founded by one its greatest Statesman-Presidents, Woodrow Wilson, is turning our backs on this nation’s potential for growth and innovation in the diplomatic realm.
