They recently too much variation between states and what they require for a concealed carry permit. If there was one unified requirement, such as at the federal level, that applied unilaterally then this would make sense. But since there is not, it should not go to the least common denominator. Otherwise that means that one state gets to make choices for another state. And that would not be right. I have seen people comparing this to marriage. But it is not the same. With marriage, the requirements are generally universal. You cannot be related too closely, you cannot already be married. With gun control, the requirements vary greatly. So, I say no.
