Senate Bill S. 394?
This bill — the Presidential Transition Enhancement Act of 2019 — would make changes intended to smooth the transfer of executive power during presidential transitions. To this end, it would provide for the detailing of legislative branch employees to office staffs designated by the president-elect or vice president-elect with the consent of the supervising member of Congress (associated costs would be reimbursable). Additionally, this bill would limit the support that the General Services Administration (GSA) offers to the president and vice president-elect to up to 60 days after their inauguration. Currently, the GSA may provide support to transition teams for up to 180 days after an inauguration. Please, for the love of God, support this Bill.
