No to Russia participating in any aspect of the G7. Putin would certainly see any lack of resolve by our country as a sign of weakness. Russia continues it’s expansionism, violation of treaties, militarization and clandestine interference with democracies. While our president and the RNC have shown little interest of addressing these atrocities, our country should not. Putin has been quite successful in his efforts to disrupt NATO by forming alliances with Turkey, aided by trump, and the release of humiliating videos of Russian forces laughing as they took over our bases days after their abandonment; that trump without any guidance requested nor accepted from military leadership, hastily and immediately abandoned after a phone call from Turkey- thus leaving a long standing and trusted ally open to slaughter by a Turkish mercenary forces consisting, in part, of Al Quida and ISIS members out for revenge. Trump allowed Turkey, a NATO ally with critical details of NATO joint strike fighters specifications, to purchase Russian anti-aircraft missile systems and bring Russian technicians into Turkish defense facilities- potentially giving NATO aircraft details to the Russians, the country whose expansionist threats caused the formation of NATO in the first place. My god, these actions alone, should be impeachable all by themselves. Any way, it is important that Putin realize that trump and his RNC enablers are not the United States- and that the Congress and the people of our country are still resolved to hold Russia to account for expansionism, treaty violation and attempts to disrupt democratic processes.
