    This ban, and it is a ban, (the president called it such and just because his press secretary tried to roll back that language, it doesn't change the fact that it is essentially a ban), goes against what we stand for as Americans and actively puts us all at risk by proving radical islamists and extremists right. A ban against Islamic nations plays into their radical narrative and paints us as separatists who don't accept anyone other than white Christians. I for one accept refugees as human beings who need help, Muslims as good intentioned religious people and I expect my representatives to do the same. Hate is not welcome in Tennessee.
