Please vote NO! Someone without educational experience is not qualified for this appointment. Education reform should be led by an impartial party with a good track record of creating a successful educational impact in their community, not someone who wants to push theological education into our classrooms. I am a Christian but I also understand and respect the fact that others around me are not. They are Hindi, Buddhist, atheist, Muslims, Jews, all which have a very different take on God(s) and the role of religion in society. This is why we have freedom of religion and separation of church and state. This is why we have churches and mosques and temples, so that each faith can be free to teach what they want in their place of worship.
