Vote NO on H.J. RES 57 & H.J. RES 58!These resolutions seek to further weaken our education system, especially in poor urban and low income areas. Teachers need to be well prepared and well-prepared teachers may need incentive to go to low income schools, where the work can be harder. Without the high standards and grants to encourage great teachers to go, our weakest schools suffer and our most underserved students suffer. Combine that with stripping away accountability to parents and communities the schools are meant to serve and it is a recipe for utterly destroying public education!
